Last Update 2 months ago

We're excited to introduce significant enhancements to Miden Cards, focusing on improving card management capabilities. Here's what's new:

πŸ†• New Card Endpoints:

Block Merchant:

Allows users to block specific merchants from transactions using their cards.

See Endpoint

Unblock Merchant:

Allows users to unblock previously blocked merchants for card transactions.

See Endpoint

Unblock Merchant One Time:

Provides the functionality to temporarily unblock a merchant for a single transaction.

See Endpoint

🐞 Bug Fix:

We have identified and resolved an issue where customers were able to create multiple customer profiles, which was unintended.

πŸ’³ Card Limitation:

Our system now enforces a maximum limit of three cards per customer.

πŸ›‘ Forced Card Termination

Cards with negative balances cannot be terminated, however, a force termination route has been introduced, and if force termination is done, the outstanding balance is passed to the merchant and the card is terminated.

❌ Card Termination (Insufficient Balance)

Cards are terminated after 3 consecutive insufficient funds attempts, this is done to reduce the number of forced debit attempts by some merchants and the number of unsuccessful authorisation costs accrued by the card.

🌟 Benefits at a Glance:

  1. Efficient Merchant Management: Easily control merchant access for card transactions.

  2. Enhanced Flexibility: Temporarily unblock merchants for one-time transactions as needed.

πŸ“£ Action for Merchants:

Start leveraging these new endpoints to enhance your card management experience immediately!
